R&D of Drug Delivery System Based on Laser Device

Introduction:

It is a new method in which drug delivery depends on laser device, allowing the drug to pass through skin or other tissues at a constant speed (or approximately constant speed), enter into the systemic circulation to produce systemic or local therapeutic effects.

Technological advantages:

● avoid first-pass effects of liver and degradation of drugs in the gastrointestinal tract, reduce individual differences in medication;

● directly enter blood in a manner which is more stable, and provides faster and better effect than oral administration;

● maintain a constant effective blood drug concentration, avoid the peak and valley phenomenon of blood drug concentration caused by oral administration, and reduce toxic and side effects;

● easy to use, able to control the speed of drug administration continuously, flexible administration (which can be interrupted at any time), especially suitable for infants, elderly and the patients who have difficulties in taking medicines.
