Project Matchmaking Activity of Jiangsu Delegation to Finland and Norway was Successfully Completed

In order to deepen innovation cooperation with Finland and Norway, at the invitation of Business Finland and the Innovation Norway, Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu Provincial Government and its affiliated Jiangsu Center of International Technology Transfer organized a delegation of 25 people from 11 high-tech enterprises in Jiangsu Province and went to Finland and Norway on June 9-16 to carry out project matchmaking activities in the field of smart energy.

 

During the Finnish activities, the delegation participated in the Jiangsu-Finland energy project matchmaking conference organized by Business Finland. The director of the Smart Energy Department of Business Finland welcomed the visit of the delegation of Jiangsu, focused on the innovation and development of Finland in the field of smart energy and expressed the willingness to jointly carry out the next round of bilateral industrial R & D cooperation program with Jiangsu. The conference focused on the energy field, but Business Finland invited Finnish enterprises in the fields of information technology, environmental science and technology to attend the conference in full consideration of the demands of all participating enterprises of the delegation. Finnish enterprises participated in the conference and the delegation of Jiangsu enterprises attended one-on-one matchmaking negotiation. Among them, Suzhou Talesun Solar Technology Co., Ltd and Savosolar of Finland, Jiangsu JINZI Environmental Science and Technology Co., Ltd and Solixi of Finland reached the initial intent of cooperation. The delegation also visited VTT, the Aalto Design Factory and the Aalto University.

 

During the activity in Norway, the delegation participated in the Jiangsu-Norway project matchmaking conference organized by the Innovation Norway. The president of Innovation Norway in Asia welcomed the delegation and fully affirmed the first round of industrial R & D cooperation projects between Jiangsu and Norway. More than ten technological innovation-driven enterprises in Norway and 11 enterprises in Jiangsu Province participated in one-on-one talks. Among them, China Science and technology Nanjing Sugon and Norway Green Mountain company have reached the initial intent of cooperation and enterprises from both parties have expressed strong cooperation intention. The delegation also visited the Norwegian Institute of Energy, SINTEF and a waste power plant owned by Futon group.

 

The activities arranged by the matchmaking conference are rich and the delegation fully experienced the innovation capacity of Finland and Norway in the field of smart energy. They also shared a batch of advanced technology projects. The provincial center will continue to follow up the matchmaking results of this activity and serve for the demand of cooperation among enterprises.
