From November 20 to 25, Jiangsu Center of International Technology Transfer organized a delegation with 10 personnel from Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Maritime Equipment Institute of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and Kunshan Huaheng Welding Co., Ltd. to Ukraine to attend China-Ukraine Innovation Cooperation Exhibition (CUICE).

Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv, China’s ambassador to Ukraine Du Wei, Vice Minister Li Meng of Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China attended the opening ceremony of CUICE. 64 Chinese enterprises and scientific research institutes as well as nearly one hundred Ukrainian participants displayed scientific research achievements and high-tech products during this event. Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences conducted complementarity and exchange with organizations both at home and abroad on the issues including agricultural cultivation and water treatment. The atmosphere during the program kept warm. Vice president Sergey of Ukraine’s Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding headed three professors to make a special trip to the exhibition for the complementarity of maritime equipment technology cooperation with the delegation of Maritime Equipment Institute of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology.

After the exhibition, Jiangsu innovation delegation paid visits to National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, and Institute of Thermophysics Technology of NASU and E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of NASU.

Director Anatoly I. Gordienko of International Cooperation Department of NASU received the delegation and expressed that he would organize and join in the 6^th International Technology Transfer Conference to be held in Jiangsu Province in 2018. He also expressed the readiness to participate in the “Union of the Belt and Road Innovation Cooperation and Technology Transfer”.

NASU and Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences made an in-depth exchange on the issues of reciprocal visits of experts, talents exchanges and project cooperation mode. Director and Academician Yuri of Institute of Thermophysics Technology of NASU organized some 20 personnel in charge of relevant departments of the institute to attend the conference and highly recommended innovation technology of heat exchange of boilers, heat detection instruments, as well as processing equipment and processing techniques for food (food drying) in the future. The Institute of Thermophysics Technology of NASU and Maritime Equipment Institute of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology deepened their exchanges on the application of heat exchange technology in shipbuilding industry. Deputy Director and academician Yegor of the E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of NASU led four experts in field of new material to carry out complementarity with the delegation and recommended 3D printing technology and electric welding technology project with different medium. Thanks to this event, Kunshan Huaheng Welding Co., Ltd. and the E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute, who had established a joint laboratory in the first half of this year, were able to further enhance pragmatic cooperation between them.
