1. Project name: Research on Key Technology Development of Social Assistance Robot for Rehabilitation Training of Sick Children with Brain Paralysis

2. Project content: At present, the incidence of brain paralysis is staying at a high level in both developed countries and developing countries, and the number is increasing by more than 46,000 people every year. The whole society shall pay attention to the high incidence of brain paralysis. Timely treatment is key to reduce the damage of brain paralysis. 4 to 7 years old is the critical period of basic rehabilitation treatment. Brain paralysis in this period is characterized by dyskinesia and abnormal postures of the body. The traditional treatment method is the targeted training for sick children with training apparatus under the guidance of trainer. With the rapid development of robot technology, robot-assisted rehabilitation training for brain paralysis is the latest technology for the treatment of such disease, which has been widely concerned at home and abroad.

4. Key points of cooperation: For the multi-dimensional interaction between trainers, children with brain paralysis and robot-assisted rehabilitation system in a clinic environment, human-computer interaction and other key technologies are developed to achieve more effective rehabilitation therapy. College of Electrical and Automation Engineering, Changshu Institute of Technology, 5 people from University of Novi Sad, Serbia, and 5 people from University of Maribor, Slovenia cooperated in scientific research.
