Anisotropic meter is an autonomous device that consists of an overhead rotation sensor and a tablet PC. The asymmetric measurement method it invented is an innovative method. There are no similar methods in the world. Some research results were published in the journal “Russian Nondestructive Testing" impurity (NDT) 2018. In 2017, Russian Federation Patent published its embodiment. This project studied and demonstrated the working principles of the anisotropic meter, determined the relationship between the measured magnetic parameters and the material properties of certain steels, and the relationship between the meter readings and the material deformation of samples subjected to elastic and plastic deformation. They designed and manufactured a prototype of the sensor of rotary anisotropic meter, designed and manufactured sensor signal simulation and digital conversion device, realized connection with tablet PC, and developed tablet PC-based operating software for the anisotropic meter.

Technological advantages:

1) Identification method-magnetic;

2) External magnetic field source-permanent magnet;

3) The material of the magnet is neodymium-iron-boron alloy (Ne-Fe-B);

4) Measurement type-in an applied magnetic field;

5) Magnetization direction-along the surface of the product;

6) Parameter measured-magnetic field strength;

7) Measuring direction-parallel to the product surface, perpendicular to the magnetization direction;

8) The type of magnetic field sensor-iron probe;

9) The range of the magnetization field-up to 1500A/cm (under the pole of the magnet); up to 500A/cm (between the poles of the magnet);

10) Measuring range-up to 20 A/cm;

11) The size of monitoring area -60 × 60 mm2;

12) Whether gap mistuning exists or not-Exist

Technological applications:

Monitor the structure, mechanical properties and stress-strain status (including fatigue) of steel products during production and operation, including long-term monitoring over the key parts of the steel structure.
