Jiangsu Center of International Technology Transfer organized 19 high-tech enterprises from the province to visit UK and France for matchmaking and exchange activities from May, 23 to May 31.

In UK, under the invitation from the Innovate UK and British Essex Government,  the delegation participated in the Jiangsu-UK Technology Matchmaking Conference organized by the Innovate UK and exchanged with local relevant enterprises, universities and research institutes to promote the project matchmaking of China (Jiangsu)-UK Industrial Challenge Programme, and to fully match the scientific and technologic innovation resources of UK. Jiang Sunan, the Minister of Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in UK, attended this activity as well. Through preliminary organization and matchmaking between the Center and EEN, this acitivity attracted 130 delegates from British enterprises and universities  and  nearly 120 pairs of negotiations were conducted on site. A number of enterprises from the province, such as Nantong MingNuo Electric Technology Co., Ltd., Zhangjiajie Huipu Optcial Materials Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Jia Yuan Special Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd., reached innitial cooperataion intentions with delegates from British enterprises at this matching conference.

At the Jiangsu-Eastern England Enterprise Matchmaking Conference held in Essex County, UK, Jiangsu Keruitu Health Management Co., Ltd. and other representative enterprises reached innitial cooperation intentions with their counterparts from UK. The delegation paid a visit to University of Essex and the dean of Big Data School introduced the university-industry collabortaions to the delegation, especially the innovation center and science and technology park in the University of Essex.

When visiting to the OUI of University of Oxford and the DSI of Imperial College London, Jiangsu enterprises were impressed by many transferable technology projects. Delegation expressed that they would like to apply for the China (Jiangsu)-UK Industrial Challenge Programme.

In France, delegation participated in Jiangsu-France Matchmaking Conference, organized by Paris & Co in Paris, from May 29 to May 31. Sun Yuming, Minister of Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in France, attended the conference and made a speech. Delegates from Paris & Co released reports about Parisian economic and innovative environment and French enterprises who attended the conference actively made matchmaking with Jiangsu’s enterprises. In EIVP, the vice president  received our delegation and expressed their expectation for a chance to build a technology transfer platform with Jiangsu province. In addition, the delegation made a survey on Paris Environmental-friendly Helium Balloon Pragram as well. As the new landmark of Paris, this program plays an important role in supervision, release and popularization of science of urban air quality. So far, this program is actively looking for partnership in China.
