In order to widen the innovative cooperation with Israel and the Czech Republic, we continue to enhance Jiangsu-Czech and Jiangsu-Israel industrial R & D cooperation and plan to cultivate more projects sources. Invited by of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Israel Innovation Authority, a delegation of 19 people from 11 high-tech enterprises in Jiangsu Province, organized by Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu Provincial Government and its affiliated Jiangsu Center of International Technology Transfer, went to the Czech Republic and Israel on May 9-17 to conduct the matchmaking activities in the fields of bio-medicine, advanced manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection.

During the Czech activities, the delegation participated in the Jiangsu-Czech project matchmaking conference organized by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. The deputy director general of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic welcomed the delegation of Jiangsu to visit, focusing on the scientific and technological innovation development of Czech Republic and expressed the willingness to jointly carry out the next round of bilateral industrial R & D cooperation program with Jiangsu. At the conference, Czech enterprises and industrial parks’ representatives held one-on-one talks with Jiangsu enterprise delegation as well as Jiangsu Wisdom Engineering &Technology Co., Ltd. and Czech Cervenka Consulting Co., Ltd., Nanjing Froeasy Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Czech Primecell Co., Ltd. achieved initial intent of cooperation. The delegation also visited Biocev, which was jointly built by Academy of sciences of the Czech Republic and Charles University in Prague.

During the Israel event, the delegation participated in the bio pharmaceutical exhibition 2019 and the Jiangsu-Israel project matchmaking conference. At the bio pharmaceutical exhibition, three Jiangsu enterprises and Israeli enterprises in the field of bio pharmaceutical held 13 pairs one-on-one matchmaking talks at the conference hall. Among them, Suzhou Iron Technology CO., LTD and RescueDose Company of Israel as well as Nanjing Froeasy Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Innogine Company of Israel achieved initial intent of cooperation. Also at the Jiangsu Israel project matchmaking conference, five Israeli science and technology innovation enterprises arranged project roadshows and one-on-one talks with the participating Jiangsu enterprises. Among them, Suzhou Sanleing and Energy and Re-Connect of Israel as well as Suzhou Kranz and Salamandra Zone of Israel achieved the initial intent of cooperation. During their stay in Israel, the delegation also made an official visit with the Israel Innovation, the Israel equity crowd funding company Ourcrowd, the Israel venture capital fund JVP and held a discussion with the Technology Transfer Center (TTC) of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The activities arranged in the matchmaking conference are rich and the delegation fully experienced the strength of Czech Industry and the innovative ecology of Israel. They also shared a batch of advanced technology projects. Jiangsu Science and Technology Exchange Center with Foreign Countries will continue to follow up the activity results of this activity and serve for the demand of cooperation among enterprises.
