From September 12 to 14, Jiangsu Center of International Technology Transfer led a delegation with 11 personnel from 8 enterprises in Jiangsu Province to attend WATEC Israel held in Tel Aviv, marking another important reciprocal visit that implements Jiangsu-Israel Industrial Research & Development Cooperation Plan and advance Jiangsu-Israel enterprises projects matchmaking and communication.

In the afternoon of September 12, the delegation attended a special event with the theme of “How to Apply Israeli Innovative Water Technology in Chinese Market”, during which Chinese Ambassador to Israel Zhan Yongxin, Vice Minister Tian Xuebin of the Ministry of Water Resources of the People’s Republic of China, Director General Shay Rinsky of Ministry of Economy of Israel delivered keynote speeches.

On September 13, the delegation paid visit to the WATEC water technology booths accompanied by Ella Heller, Asia-Pacific Officer of Israeli Innovation Agency, and held one-to-one negotiation activities as scheduled. Sand filtration equipment displayed by Ball Tech Energy Ltd. and multilayer membrane filtration technology showed by Fluence Corporation drew attentions of many enterprises from Jiangsu to negotiate business. Cui Yuting of Science and Technology Office of Chinese Embassy to Israel also participated in these activities and inquired hot spots of discussion and cooperation feasibility between both sides from time to time. She also appreciated Jiangsu about organizing enterprise delegation to Israel to join in project matchmaking and communication activities for many times.

On September 14, the delegation paid visits to the largest wastewater treatment plant in Israel - Shafdan Wastewater Treatment Plant, the largest desalination plant - IDE Sorek Desalination Plant and world famous NaanDanJain Irrigation Ltd. The visits to the inside of factories left enterprises from Jiangsu province deep impression on Israeli innovation technology and wisdom.
