To further the cooperation with EU in science and technology and grasp the status quo of Chinese organizations’ participation in Framework Program of European Union, China Science and Technology Exchange Center and Jiangsu Center of International Technology Transfer held a colloquia on promotion of participation in the Framework Program of European Union by Chinese organizations in Nanjing on July 6, 2011.
The colloquia invited organizations that had participated in the program and had them shared the status quo of their participation, problems they encountered and their suggestions on policies. As the contact point for the Framework Program of European Union in China, China Science and Technology Exchange Center made an introduction to China’s participation in the Framework Program of European Union. Experts from Nanjing University, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing Agriculture University and Institute of Soil Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences and so on also attended the colloquia and exchanged their views on certain topics with China Science and Technology Exchange Center.
After the colloquia, China Science and Technology Exchange Center visited enterprises and research organizations in Wuxi, Changzhou and other Jiangsu cities, gathering information on their cooperation with EU and their needs for cooperation, as well as answering their questions related to the application of the Framework Program of European Union.
